Adelle carries ‘The Land of Longing’ across four languages

Lithuanian designer Gytis Skudžinskas used the slab serif Adelle in Arturas Valiauga’s photographic art book The Land of Longing. The publication was inspired by the work of Kristijonas Donelaitis, fundamental in Lithuanian literature. The texts have been translated into four languages (Lithuanian, English, German, and Russian) and the multilingual typeface Adelle is a perfect fit.
