Design Sessions, the graphic design studio lead by the renowned Argentinian designer César Sesio has designed the promotional pieces for The Interior Castle, a concert presented by Musica Aperta in celebration of the 500th anniversary of the birth of Saint Teresa of Avila, commissioned by the Carmelite Monastery of Boston.
Design Session’s work consisted in creating two CD jackets and their insert booklets, a DVD box, a poster and a program for the event. César Sesio has used Abril for those pieces and in the logotype, taking advantage of Abril’s idiosyncratic ligatures, headlines and longer texts.
