Formdusche uses Abril to give a neobaroque German theatre an unexpected new identity

Formdusche, a Berlin based graphic design studio, was responsible for redesigning the identity of the theatre Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden, located in Wiesbaden: ‘The backside of the neobaroque theatre has been turned into the main entrance. So change of perspective is the idea of the CD: tilted logo quotes break with viewing expectations. Kick-off campaign: HSW as your trusted companion, pricking up its ears, ready to be woken from sleep, even lifting a leg — WOOF!’
For the new brand and printed applications Formdusche has used Abril Text and Abril Display.
