Fino Sans, by Ermin Međedović, was used in the promotional materials for Barcelona the Play, starring Lily Collins and Álvaro Morte and directed by Lynette Linton. Barcelona opened in London at the Duke of York’s Theatre and ran from October 2024 to January 2025.
Feast Creative designed the artwork for Barcelona, and they had this to say: “After considering many other typefaces we honed in on Fino - wanting to use a serif font that reflected the city of Barcelona and a modern love story. Its theatrical elegance and clean lines created a perfect feeling of ‘continental’ romance, with a touch of old glitz and glamour – reminiscent of an old European playbill. We were drawn to the wide circular ‘O’ which gives it an added design element, lending the title treatment its own personality.”
